Our Big Fat Greek Vacation: Part I

Our Greece vacation commences in Athens, battlefield of the Greek gods and goddesses, home to the first modern Olympics, and land of the spectacular Greek salad with Feta.
At our hotel
The Acropolis at sunset
Ancient Theater (I forgot who it was named for)
The hoards of tourists
The Parthenon
The Parthenon-majestic and airy
Another side of the Parthenon- I could have taken pictures all day of this amazing architecture
Looking from the Acropolis (through a hole) down to the Agora-where Socrates used to philosophize
Olive tree on the Acropolis to commemorate the olive tree Athena planted to win the battle with Zeus for the city-hence we have Athens and not Zeusens
Someone's measuring was a smidgen off
The best preserved ancient temple in Greece in the Agora
Two Greek men discussing important topics in the gardens

Hadrian's arch
Zeus' temple, once the biggest temple if the Ancient world
Moonlight on the Acropolis
